LETTER | Abandoned by family for a life behind bars

My latest letter to Jose Andrade addresses his sorrow over abandonment by his family; it apologizes for the lateness of my reply to his last letter describing their sudden and unexpected betrayal at a time when support was needed most, and explains the difficulties I've had in writing a letter to a life-long inmate who has suddenly found himself alone.
