A sucker demon's surprise attack was thwarted (or at least postponed) when it either discovered or was informed that I was pointing a video camera at it; in the video, it can be seen slowly drifting in from behind a dresser, before doing a perfect 180° turn in mid-air—not much unlike, say, a fly, except that the turn was made perfectly parallel to the floor:
