On MKUltra and Audio Management From what you mentioned, I don’t believe this would be related to “MKUltra” programs unless they specifically use Apple’s AVAudioSession (the framework apps written for Apple devices rely on to manage audio, including how apps interact with one another — for instance, when one app is playing sound and another starts, the system may pause, lower, or mix the audio depending on the session rules). Any app that plays sound has to cooperate with others in the system — for example, pausing audio when a phone call comes in. ToneBarrier, however, is designed to keep things quiet while it’s running. It silences phone calls and notifications so that the experience isn’t interrupted.
