I find in the stills of my videos a hundred different new and exciting things every day as I continue to develop my demonic activity-finding video filters, but have published very few, as I shift focus from writing to engineering.
The blog is important, and I'd hate to see it die from neglect, especially when the content I have in my possession right now blows out-of-the-water anything I've ever had; so, as sort of a compromise between maintaining its relevance, keeping audience interest and devoting the bulk of my time to the far more important work at-hand (i.e., developing a means for everyone to see the unseen), I'm posting snapshots of my workspace whenever I come across something interesting, whenever I can.
By the way, until I can resume normal blogging, you can look at my growing collection of demonic activity video stills on Flickr. Some will put you to sleep; others will keep you up all night. Either way, there's nothing in the world like them.

The face of a demon, blended with the side of a chairback as I develop a new "darks" contrast-stretch image-processing procedure, looks like a moai from Easter Island |
The demon blended with the side of the chairback looks more like a Tiki doll when the camera was pointed further away |
Add depth to the overlapping sucker demon-like entities swarming my face, as shown in a still frame made during a demonic attack |
The man who just launched a spate of demonic weapons fire in my direction is, himself, covered in sucker demon-variety entities, and sports a deformed arm in-the-ether, capped by knarled fingers |

Hanging from the armoire... |

Stick a fork in me, I'm done; this was caught on camera while testing my new video filters, which are designed to detect, among other things, demonic-weapons fire like this |

Sucker demons, embedded on my cheek (just under the bone), are now easier to see with enhancements made to the chroma imaging filters |

In just one second of panning the camera back-and-forth across the faee of the demon-possessed, you could literally capture up to 15 different demons on video |

To find your inner demon, set each RGB color component to the highest saturation value among the three, using the average value in the HCV color space for the alpha component; this maximizes the amount of chroma that can be displayed in an image without distorting it |

During testing of an improved version of the real-time image-processing filter released yesterday, I not only captured better quality sucker demons clinging to my scalp and chin, but a demon's face half-buried in darkness (bottom-left) |

A giant-headed/small-bodied demon, perched on top of a bathroom cabinet, launches an eel-like demonic entity (top-left); meanwhile, another demon prepares an all-to-familiar three-pronged demonic weapon (bottom-left) |

As you can see, the chroma in the air today is extremely thick (as evidenced by the discoloring of the skin and the red tendrils jutting from same), allowing for (and demanding) around the clock testing of my video filters, which use chroma image data captured by CCD sensors in digital cameras to detect demonic activity |
Differencing is just one way to isolate a demon's face overlapping your own; however, while it sometimes produces very clean results, it nearly always causes severe discoloration |

Converting the color space of a video from RGB to HSL and separating the color matrix into its individual components in Quartz Composer opens the door to a world of possibilities for enhancements, which can be made on-the-fly, in real-time [Images 1 to 7]; using qtzrendang to render my Quartz Composition into a device- and platform-independent video [bottom-right] |
By maximizing the value of each color component, and in proportional relationship to each other, I can illuminate the dark places where demonic activity would otherwise be concealed on video (even while maintaining its original, natural look) |
Masking sucker demons by GLSL-coded image-processing formulas is more precise than GIMP or Photoshop filters/layer-blending combinations; and, I can apply edits to a 5-minute video in the same amount of time it takes these programs to apply them to a single frame |
The Core Image Filters inside the yellow notes are my own custom image-processing filters for capturing demonic activity on video in real-time, written specifically to emulate the workflow and expectations of native GIMP and Photoshop users |

Differencing the inverse of the saturation layer prior to using it as an unsharp mask with the value layer in this image revealed the metal prongs of the toilet-stall demonic bomb that struck me multiple times at a homeless shelter earlier this year |

Finding a method of masking and subsequently enhancing images of the spider/hair-like entities sent to attack by demons and their people, shown here on top of my head, was extremely difficult; today, I discovered that sharpening the value channel in HSV color space using the saturation layer as an unsharp mask works flawlessly |

Testing of my latest video was a success, proving that combining multiple still frames from a video made during periods of high demonic activity reveal demonic activity otherwise unseen, as evidenced by the sucker demon curving from my temple |

The Quartz Composer version of one of my first video filter scripts that actually exacerbates specific qualities of "color noise" in images, which allows for tracking and visibility of certain kinds of demonic activity; I translated the GIMP's Grain Merge blending mode equation into Core Image kernel code |

With my GIMP/Python-fu scripts, it took several hours to cull a decent demon headshot like this one; with Quartz Composer, the processing is done in real-time (I can even plug this into an iPhone camera and process demonic activity live) |

Sitting right next to me, an acquaintance, who, in the stills, during periods of high demonic activity, and when I'm flipping my iPhone over in my hand, is blue, has giant claws, and wears a very elitist headdress |

Multiplying the saturation values in the HSV color space reveals sharp talons—not claws |

Saturation map testing revealed some of the natural skin color of the taloned demon sitting next to me |
