#572 - Ten things I think God wants every demon fighter to remember

I took about 15 minutes time to list what I think are the most relevant messages God has given me by and through His Word over the past three years as a demon fighter; they have been tested in all ways, and I take them with me into every battle waged in my fight against evil.

As someone who has seen and been through some scary-a** sh*t on a repeated and continual basis from ages 5 through 8, and ages 32 to 40, I can assure you that the following ten Bible excerpts are among the only things that will compel you to wake up in the morning and to carry yourself into the next fight—that is, if you find yourself in a similar situation. I can also say for certain that nothing else on earth, neither anything above nor below it, could do the same (except for, maybe, the love you have for your Scratchie-cat, as I have for mine).

You will find that these are the same things your mother and your elementary school teachers have said to you all along. Each of the ten points of remembrance are first presented in my own words, followed by the actual scripture from which they are derived:
  1. Don't repay sin with sin.
Be not overcome with evil; but; overcome evil with good.
Romans 12:21
  1. No battle is too big.
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea.
Psalms 46:1, 2
  1. Nothing can stand in your way.
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:38, 39
  1. Your fight is with demons, not people or yourself (or, remember who you're fighting against, and who you're fighting for).
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Ephesians 6:12
  1. The odds are always in your favor.
Lord, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me. Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah. But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. I cried unto the Lord with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah. I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the Lord sustained me. I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about. Arise, O Lord; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly. Salvation belongeth unto the Lord : thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah.
Psalms 3:1-8
  1. Fear is not a factor for you.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Psalms 23:4
  1. Dress for the weather.
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
Ephesians 6:13-17
  1. Keep in touch.
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.
Ephesians 6:18
  1. Represent (or, let 'em know where you stand, with whom you stand, and by whom you stand).
And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
Ephesians 6:19, 20
  1. You are not alone.
Lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Matthew 28:20
If I took more time than I did to come up with these, I'd never have gotten this post done. After all, Jesus' life was about this fight, he died for this fight, and arose to win this fight once and for all, and for every one of us. A blog post can't do that justice; but, I wanted to provide insight to the people who are confused as to why or how I do what I do, however small.
